From Weaving to Literature; Defining a New Tourism Route in Yazd Inspired by the Works of a Safavid Artist

The Deputy Director of Tourism at the Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts Department of Yazd Province pointed to the lesser-known capacities of Khwaja Ghiyath al-Din Ali Naqshband Yazdi, an artist from the Safavid era, stating: The life and works of this artist, by linking literature, visual arts, design, and weaving, as well as the social history and court culture of the Safavid period, can serve as the basis for designing a literary-artistic tourism route in the historical fabric of Yazd.
