Senator Markwayne Mullin: Trump Doesn't Bluff; His Patience with the Ayatollah Will Run Out

Markwayne Mullin, a Republican senator from the United States, warned that the situation in Iran is rapidly deteriorating and that the Islamic Republic is not taking Donald Trump's warnings seriously. He stated, "American forces have been deployed, and if Tehran ignores Trump's words, this disregard will be to its own detriment." In an interview with Fox News on Sean Hannity's program, he emphasized the President's approach: "Trump doesn't bluff, but he acts in his own time." He claimed, "We can easily penetrate the Islamic Republic's air defenses. They essentially have no army and have sent their forces into the streets to suppress the people; that is why they have resorted to the Revolutionary Guards again." This Republican senator from Oklahoma described the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as "the biggest supporter of terrorism in the world" and said, "The role of the IRGC is similar to the SS in Nazi Germany; a force completely loyal to the regime." He also added, "The important point is that the Ayatollah has come out of hiding, which means his exact location is known to the President and the U.S. intelligence community." Mullin continued, "The only reason the Ayatollah is still alive is the opposition from some regional countries to his removal. But you and I know Trump; his patience will run out. On that day, the Ayatollah will face the consequences of his decisions."
