12 Countries Most Satisfied with Their Sexual Relationships

The website "Alternet" has reported that despite the United States still being considered the only global superpower and Hollywood stars like George Clooney and Kate Upton being portrayed in the media as symbols of the sexiest, the U.S. lags significantly behind other countries in terms of sexual satisfaction. While parts of American society have progressive views on sexual issues, there remains a traditional sense of restraint and puritanism prevailing in the country. Perhaps this is why, under pressure from religious and right-wing groups, sexual education in schools is limited, abortion remains a contentious issue, and the rights and relationships of homosexuals are not fully recognized, resulting in lower sexual satisfaction among Americans compared to other countries. An international study recently conducted on sexual satisfaction across various countries shows that only about 48% of Americans feel satisfied in this regard. The sexual activity levels in many countries exceed those in the U.S. by up to seventy times. But how is sexual satisfaction measured? According to the "Global Durex Survey," factors that contribute to a good and active sexual relationship include mutual respect and love between partners, lack of stress and anxiety, the ability to achieve satisfaction, mental and physical health, and frequency of intimacy. This 2014 study also emphasizes that the economic and political situation of individuals and societies plays a role in sexual satisfaction. After analyzing the results of this study, "Alternet" has listed the countries where people report the highest levels of sexual satisfaction, without any particular order. 1- Switzerland: This country has very progressive laws regarding pornography, legal prostitution, sexual education from a young age, and abortion. It also has one of the lowest teenage pregnancy rates in the world. About 20% of the population describes their sexual relationships as excellent. 2- Spain: This country has some of the most progressive laws in the world regarding gay rights and sexual freedom. In recent not-so-scientific surveys, Spanish men have topped the list of the best male lovers. About a quarter of the population describes their sexual relationships as very good, and in a survey conducted last year among a thousand people, 90% said they feel more satisfied in a stable romantic and sexual relationship. 3- Italy: According to surveys conducted this year, about 64% of Italian men and women are satisfied with their sexual relationships, and for about a third of them, intimacy lasts at least ten minutes. Italian men are known as successful and desirable lovers, and among Italian women, those who drink two glasses of wine daily report higher satisfaction in their sexual relationships. 4- Brazil: Overall, it seems that Brazilians are among the most successful in the world regarding sexual satisfaction. Various statistics exist regarding the frequency of intimacy in this country, but it appears to average one or two times a week. Brazilian men rank second in the list of desirable lovers after Spaniards, and it seems that young people in this country lose their virginity earlier than in other parts of the world. 5- Greece: One reason for the sexual satisfaction of Greeks appears to be their willingness to talk about their sexual preferences and temptations. The history of discussing sexual issues dates back to ancient Greece and centuries before Christ. There is no doubt that open communication and mutual understanding between partners enhance the health and activity of sexual relationships, and the good nature and diet of the people also play a role. Surveys show that about 50% of Greeks are completely satisfied with their sexual relationships. 6- Netherlands: This country is considered one of the most liberal places in the world regarding sexual relationships and sex. Over 60% of Dutch men and women say they openly express their sexual needs and temptations, which contributes to relationship satisfaction. Interestingly, the Netherlands has one of the lowest teenage pregnancy rates and rates of AIDS infection. More than 22% of the population describes their sexual relationships as excellent. 7- Mexico: This country is one of the most sensual places in the world and ranks second in terms of sexual satisfaction among its people. In the past decade, sexual education has expanded in educational environments and society, and the government has legalized controlled prostitution in many states. However, Mexico still ranks among the worst countries in the world for human trafficking for sexual exploitation and sexual abuse of minors. 8- India: It seems that for Indians, especially men, the duration of intimacy is an important factor. Various hypotheses exist regarding the reasons for sexual satisfaction in this country, but statistics show that a high percentage of men, about 61%, are satisfied with their sexual relationships. At the same time, Indian men generally have to wait longer than men in other countries to have their first sexual experience. The average age for losing virginity among Indian men is 22 years. 9- Australia: Perhaps the reason for Australians' satisfaction with their sexual relationships is spending a lot of time in natural environments and outside the confines of their homes. A high percentage of Australian women are satisfied with their sexual relationships, and it seems that changing sexual partners is very common in this country, with the average Australian experiencing 10 sexual partners throughout their life. 10- Nigeria: According to the Durex survey, Nigeria has the highest level of sexual satisfaction in the world at 67%. This may be due to the long duration of intimacy, which averages 24 minutes in this country. Given the closed and traditional environment of society and the dominance of radical Islam in parts of Nigeria, this level of sexual satisfaction may seem somewhat surprising. At the same time, Nigerian women are the most unfaithful sexual partners, with 62% admitting to cheating on their partners. 11- Germany: This country is one of the leading countries in sexual education and legalizing sex. It seems that excitement and satisfaction of sexual temptations are very common among the people of this country. About 32% of Germans admit to having one-night stands or engaging in sex in public places. Like other Western European countries, Germans also describe their sexual relationships as excellent. This country has also been very successful in controlling teenage pregnancies and managing AIDS. 12- China: Despite being one of the most closed and conservative countries in the world under Communist Party rule, it seems that people in this country have very active sexual lives at home. About 80% of Chinese people have sex at least once a week. The reasons for sexual satisfaction among the Chinese are unclear, but some believe that new technologies have played a role. Many Chinese use new communication technologies to strengthen their relationships with their sexual partners. In the past decade, sex toy stores have become very popular in China, and it may be worth noting that 70% of fantasy and sexual satisfaction devices are now produced in China.
