A Former MP Says Raisi is Operating in 'Another Solar System'

A former MP has criticized the performance and statements of Ebrahim Raisi, stating that a few individuals have surrounded him and are trying to create an alternate reality for him where the country is flourishing. A sociologist also mentioned that the public does not care about what Raisi says or wants. Gholamali Jafarzadeh Iman-Abadi, in an interview with Khabar Online, described the statements of the thirteenth government members regarding Telegram currencies as 'running ahead' and referred to them as 'childish talk,' asserting that 'this government is making more mistakes than any other government.' Iman-Abadi, who has a history of serving in the Islamic Consultative Assembly but was disqualified in last year's elections, emphasized the disconnect between Ebrahim Raisi and society, noting that he travels from city to city with 400 or 500 bodyguards and then claims to have mingled with the people. Additionally, Ham-Mihan newspaper quoted sociologist Taghi Azad Armaki, stating, 'We are witnessing a strong society and a weak government.' Azad Armaki pointed out that the government fails to establish proper interactions with society, emphasizing that 'the government sells a certain amount of dollars or fluctuates rates, thinking it can control the dollar rate, but it cannot.' According to this sociologist, a government that comes to power with an ideological discourse lacks an understanding of the problems. Taghi Azad Armaki stated that the government does not provide special solutions to problems, and 'day by day, issues are increasing, and people are becoming poorer.' He emphasized that whatever aspirations Raisi expresses, no one pays attention, and when even the smallest event occurs in any sector, the market prices rise because it no longer matters to society what the government says or wants. The critics' reference to the disconnect between the government and the people can be clearly seen in the escalation of economic problems and the indifference and 'slogan therapy' of the government. Accordingly, while in the first month of the year, the general price level of goods and services experienced an official price increase of up to 45%, and the livelihood of the people is in the worst historical conditions of the last four decades, the officials of the Islamic Republic and Ebrahim Raisi are concerned about the Palestinians. In this context, Ebrahim Raisi stated yesterday, 'The power and hope for the people and the country have brought joy and hope to the Muslim and free nations of the world, of which punishing Israel was one manifestation.'
