A List of Iranian Individuals and Entities to be Removed from Sanctions

With the comprehensive nuclear agreement between Iran and global powers, sanctions imposed against a large number of Iranian individuals, entities, and companies have also been lifted. These sanctions were all related to the nuclear activities of the Islamic Republic. The text of the nuclear agreement published on Tuesday, July 13, contains a long list of these individuals and entities, including several ministries, banks, shipping companies, airlines, commanders of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, and figures associated with the Iranian government, such as Ali Akbar Salehi, head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Rostam Qasemi, former oil minister of Iran, Mohammad Reza Naghdi, head of the Basij Organization, and Yahya Rahim Safavi, former commander of the IRGC and military advisor to the Supreme Leader of Iran. The text of the nuclear agreement between Iran and the 1+5 group states that economic and financial sanctions in the banking, financial, oil, gas, petrochemical, commercial, transportation, and insurance sectors imposed by the European Union and the United States due to Iran's nuclear program will be lifted in one go at the beginning of the agreement's implementation. The mentioned list contains names that are also sanctioned for issues unrelated to nuclear activities, such as human rights, and these sanctions remain in effect.
