Abdolfazl Ghadiani: Khamenei's Job is a Conspiracy Against the Nation, Fabrication, and Lying

Abdolfazl Ghadiani, a 79-year-old political prisoner, in a letter from Evin Prison described Ali Khamenei's 'job' as 'a conspiracy against the nation and fabrication and lying.' He called the recent announcement by the Islamic Republic's judiciary regarding a one-quarter reduction of his sentence 'entirely false and conspiratorial' and emphasized that he has never requested a revision or reduction of his 'illegal sentence.' In this letter, published on Wednesday, February 24, on the Telegram channel 'Kalemeh,' he wrote that the '28th branch of the illegal Revolutionary Court' deemed him eligible for a one-quarter reduction of his sentence in a notification 'regarding the defendant's request for a sentence reduction.' This political prisoner added: 'I was truly astonished by all the wickedness, humiliation, and shameless conspiracy of Ali Khamenei and his judiciary and security forces. For nearly fifteen years, whether in prison or outside, whenever they have formed a case against me and summoned me for interrogation and court.' He further stated: 'In a statement, I have declared that according to various principles of the existing constitution (which must be fundamentally changed), I do not consider the prosecution and Revolutionary Courts to be legal.' Mr. Ghadiani pointed out that he views the Islamic Revolutionary Courts and prosecutors as 'mercenaries of the security apparatus' and 'servants and subordinates of Ali Khamenei, the self-serving autocrat of Iran,' and considers any ruling issued by 'such so-called courts to be a crime,' reiterating this stance. This senior member of the Mojahedin of the Islamic Revolution Organization noted that since his imprisonment on October 1 of this year, security and judicial agents of the government have repeatedly asked him to submit a request for a revision regarding his three-and-a-half-year prison sentence, to which he has responded each time that 'I consider the Revolutionary Courts and prosecutors to be illegal and do not recognize them at all, therefore I will not submit a request for revision.' Abdolfazl Ghadiani explained that the aim of the Islamic Republic's agents was 'to force me to recognize the illegal courts through the request for revision, which their shot hit the stone.' This political prisoner, referring to the deprivation of a wide segment of the country's population, added: 'Ali Khamenei is so shameless that in his recent speech, he considers negotiations with America to be shameless, but he does not consider the looting and plundering of the nation and reducing them to the ground and imposing such bone-crushing poverty on the people, in conditions where hundreds and thousands die daily due to lack of access to food, medicine, and treatment, to be shameless.' He continued that 'the fall of Ali Khamenei, the criminal autocrat of Iran, and the corrupt and corrupting system of the Islamic Republic at the hands of the Iranian people' is 'the remedy for the irreparable structural corruption' in all areas in Iran. Abdolfazl Ghadiani, a political activist opposing the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, has been imprisoned multiple times due to his severe criticism of the Supreme Leader. He was last arrested on October 1 on charges of 'propaganda against the regime' and transferred to Evin Prison. Abdolfazl Ghadiani's wife expressed concern about his health in prison in an interview with the Shargh newspaper in January of this year, reporting that this political prisoner suffers from multiple illnesses and expressing worry about his 'physical health' in prison.
