AFC Champions League; Zob Ahan Held to a Draw Against Al-Qatar

The match between Zob Ahan Isfahan and Al-Qatar Sports Club ended in a 3-3 draw. According to ISNA, this afternoon, in the continuation of the AFC Champions League, the teams Zob Ahan and Al-Qatar faced each other at the Fooladshahr Stadium in Isfahan, where Zob Ahan was held to a 3-3 draw against their opponent. Zob Ahan finished the first half of the match with a 1-0 lead but displayed a weak performance at the beginning of the second half, conceding three goals from their Qatari rivals within ten minutes. Al-Qatar started the second half aggressively and scored in the 47th and 49th minutes by Mishael Mubarak and in the 57th minute by the experienced Argentine player Kani Gaya. After conceding three goals, Zob Ahan regained their composure, took control of the ball and field, and launched numerous attacks on Al-Qatar's goal, eventually scoring in the 65th minute by Reza Azizi and in the 83rd minute by Hamid Aziz Zadeh, concluding the match with the same score. The first goal for Zob Ahan was scored by Ali Tahmasbi in the 17th minute. It is noteworthy that Nasser Noamooz and Erfaniyan Daneshvar, the Vice President and Secretary General of the Football Federation, were present in the Zob Ahan locker room during halftime and told the players that this match is a national game and is very important for Iran and the Football Federation, urging them to deliver a satisfactory performance in the second half.
