On Wednesday, Biden is expected to speak at 'UnidosUS,' the largest civil rights organization advocating for Latino voters, in an effort to garner support from the Latino electorate, another key voting bloc for Democrats. It is anticipated that in both events, Biden will reiterate his calls for reducing inflammatory political rhetoric. He repeated these messages three times in less than 24 hours after the shooting at Trump's campaign rally in Pennsylvania. The current President of the United States, from the Democratic Party, faces the challenge of balancing his unifying message with the promise to stop Trump as he seeks another four-year term in the White House. Trump has also urged the American people through his social media to 'stand united.' In an interview with the Washington Examiner, he mentioned that he rewrote his speech for the Republican National Convention, scheduled for Thursday, to focus more on unity after the assassination attempt on him. Biden continues to reject calls from at least 20 Democratic lawmakers in Congress and some other party members to withdraw from the race, citing concerns about his age and mental capacity. Biden insists that he is the best candidate from the Democratic Party to defeat Trump. Recent polls compiled by the 'FiveThirtyEight' group show that Donald Trump is leading in Nevada by a margin of 4.7 percentage points. Security officials shot and killed one person near the Republican National Convention. In an interview with ABC, President Biden defended his mental and physical strength.
