Alleged Israeli Attack on Hezbollah Vehicle; Jerusalem Post: 'Main Target' Survived

The Israeli newspaper Jerusalem Post reported that one of the members of Hezbollah Lebanon, who was the main target of an attack attributed to Israel, was not killed in that attack. Israeli media reported on Sunday that an Israeli drone targeted a vehicle in the village of Kafra in southern Lebanon. According to Jerusalem Post, Al Arabiya and Al Hadath reported that the attack on this village, located 10 kilometers from the Lebanon-Israel border, failed to kill the main target of the operation. The Jerusalem Post stated that Arab media reported that Fadi Suleiman, a senior field commander of Hezbollah, managed to survive the alleged drone attack. Israeli media reported that two of his aides were killed in that attack, one of whom is named Fazl Suleiman. It has been reported that he is a family member of Fadi Suleiman and a member of Hezbollah. In recent weeks, higher-ranking officials of Hezbollah Lebanon and the Revolutionary Guards in Syria and Lebanon have been targeted in deadly airstrikes. Meanwhile, the Times of Israel, citing the Israeli army, reported that the force attacked Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon early on Sunday with fighter jets, including a military building, observation posts, rocket launch sites, and other infrastructure belonging to Hezbollah. Five members of the Revolutionary Guards were killed in the attack on Damascus. An attack on the Ain al-Assad base in Iraq resulted in several American personnel sustaining 'minor injuries.'
