American Lawmaker Emphasizes the Need for 'Maximum Support' for the People of Iran

Joe Wilson, a Republican member of the U.S. House of Representatives, stated on Monday that the people of Iran and the region will not allow the Islamic Republic to lead their countries to destruction. He wrote in a post on social media platform X: 'The people of Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Yemen, and Iran will never allow the Iranian regime to destroy their countries again through terrorism.' This Republican lawmaker added that through maximum pressure on the regime and maximum support for the people of Iran, the era of destruction supported by the Islamic Republic will soon come to an end. The South Carolina congressman continued, 'Trump will fix this situation.' In another post, referring to Russia's military invasion of Ukraine, he wrote: 'Russia and the Islamic Republic have conveyed to the world that they are strong, while they are actually very weak.'
