Aminollah Rashidi, Renowned Singer and Composer, Passes Away

Aminollah Rashidi, a prominent figure in Iranian music, passed away at the age of 99 due to old age. According to his son, the body of this famous singer and composer will be donated for medical research, and there will be no funeral ceremony. Aminollah Rashidi was born on April 23, 1925, in Ravand, Kashan, and was a well-known Iranian singer and composer. Iranian media reported, citing his daughter, Afsaneh Rashidi, that this renowned artist passed away on Friday, October 12, and his body will be donated to the University of Medical Sciences for scientific research, and accordingly, no funeral ceremony will be held for him. Mr. Rashidi began his professional career in 1948 at Radio Iran and during his artistic life, he composed 120 songs, leaving behind works such as 'Jan-e Jahan', 'Afsaneh', 'Golafshan', 'Jalveh-ye Eshq', and 'Ashk-e Sepideh'. In recent years, Aminollah Rashidi had distanced himself from the professional music scene. He had previously stated in an interview: 'I would like to sing for the people until I am 100 years old, but the music mafia pushes people like me aside. Behind-the-scenes hands introduce a new singer every day, but their voices do not remain in the minds of the people.
