Appeal for the Rescue of Victims of Rajavi and Saddam Hussein - 2003-04-23. This is a revealing statement from a former member of the Central Council of the Mojahedin Organization. Greetings to the freedom-seeking struggles of the noble people of Iran. Addressing all awakened consciences and freedom-loving individuals, I, Ardshir Parhizkari, a former member of the Central Council of the Mojahedin Organization and head of the research department in the so-called liberation army's communications division, after 24 years of sincere efforts for freedom and justice, including over 18 years of cooperation with the Mojahedin and 15 years of continuous and professional presence in the military section of this organization in Iraq, have come to realize the inhumane and terrorist actions of the Mojahedin Organization and the cult of personality and absolute dictatorship of Mr. Rajavi in this sect. After years of principled criticism within the organizational frameworks and legitimate and peaceful protests that received nothing but violent responses from the organization, I formally announced my resignation from the organization in 1997. However, I was subjected to brutal beatings and inhumane pressures that forced me to remain in Iraq. After years of harassment, beatings, and torture that resulted in irreparable psychological and physical damage and disability, I was initially held in the organization’s prisons and solitary confinement under inhumane conditions without any right to defense. When faced with my reaction and unlimited hunger strike, they blindfolded and handcuffed me and handed me over to the Iraqi intelligence. Contrary to Mr. Rajavi's expectations, who thought I would rot in the prisons of Iraq like many other dissatisfied members and officials, fate had other plans, and after a year of imprisonment and enduring numerous sufferings, I managed to reach a safe country a few months ago. Mr. Rajavi again failed and could not eliminate one of the witnesses to his inhumane crimes like many similar cases. Now that I have found safety, I am ready to expose this terrorist and inhumane sect and urge all awakened human consciences to condemn Mr. Rajavi's inhumane and terrorist actions and the senior officials of the organization to save the lives of other dissatisfied members, who constitute the majority of the organization’s body and part of the command levels, to the best of their ability. It must be emphasized that Rajavi's strategy, which is based on terrorism and blood, has no other goal than to sacrifice and kill the members and cadres of the organization in Iraq, most of whom are dissatisfied and witnesses to years of Rajavi's crimes and treachery and cooperation with the dictator of Iraq, Saddam Hussein, to rid himself of them and their revelations, and to use their blood to portray himself as a victim and gain support. Therefore, every free human being and awakened conscience must consider saving the lives of these victims a serious and urgent matter and exert maximum effort to prevent a humanitarian disaster that benefits Mr. Rajavi. I am ready for any kind of information dissemination and detailing the depth of the tragedy for public opinion and will provide more details in future statements. Ardshir Parhizkari, former member of the Central Council of the Mojahedin, 20/4/2003.
