Armed Forces Ready to Achieve 'Resilient Economy'

The senior spokesperson for the armed forces announced the comprehensive readiness of the armed forces to assist the government in achieving a resilient economy. According to ISNA, Masoud Jazayeri, Deputy for Basij Affairs and Defensive Culture of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, stated that exaggerating sanctions and lifting sanctions is a misleading discourse, far from the existing realities, aimed at influencing public opinion and intimidating the audience. Jazayeri considered any negligence in implementing 'the directives of Ayatollah Khamenei in his Nowruz speech and the necessity of outlining a roadmap for the resilient economy and acting upon it as an unforgivable loss and error. Reza Alijani, a political analyst and member of the National-Religious Activists Council residing in Paris, views the confrontation between the perspectives of the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic and the President of Iran as a struggle between two major policies. He believes that Rouhani's government is willing to continue dialogues with the West and unite the country to build the economic path, while Ayatollah Khamenei does not tolerate dialogue with the West and prefers not to pursue economic reforms as they involve some institutions under his supervision. Mehdi Mahdavi Azad, a journalist and political analyst residing in Germany, in an interview with Radio Farda regarding the confrontation of these two viewpoints, which the spokesperson of the armed forces also directed towards the government of Hassan Rouhani, believes: 'The framework that Ayatollah Khamenei has provided for this resilient economy is completely in contradiction with the policies of Mr. Rouhani's government, and from now on, if there is any criticism of the government for not adhering to the resilient economy, it means that they are preparing the ground for pressure on the government.' According to Masoud Jazayeri, the spokesperson for the armed forces, neglecting the 'clear enemies' of Iran, which he believes to be the United States, will lead future generations to harsh judgments about the current leaders of Iran. He considered what he called 'the progress and achievements of the armed forces' as a model for other sectors in implementing the resilient economy.
