Armed Robbers Attack Home of Roberto Baggio, Italian Football Legend, Injuring Him

Italian media reported that armed robbers attacked Roberto Baggio, the former star of the Italian national football team, while he was watching the national team's match against Spain at his home. After the robbers fled, Roberto Baggio broke down the door of the room where he had been held and alerted the police. This Italian football legend stated in a statement to the Italian news agency ANSA that 'in such situations, anything can happen. During his career, he played 56 matches for Italy and scored 27 goals. His long hair and ponytail, which were uncommon in the football world at the time, earned him the nickname 'Divine Ponytail.'
