According to the Hengaw website, intelligence agents stormed Ahmad Hasan-Zadeh's home on the birthday of his deceased son, Mohammad Hasan-Zadeh, and arrested him along with his daughter Solmaz Hasan-Zadeh. The report states that the Hasan-Zadeh family was preparing to hold a birthday ceremony for the deceased protester when 'the intelligence forces stormed their home without presenting a judicial document' and 'beat' Mr. Hasan-Zadeh and his daughter before arresting them.
