In this regard, the London police announced that while investigations are ongoing, it appears that the vehicle swerved onto the sidewalk, causing injuries to pedestrians. According to this report, in addition to the driver of the vehicle, who is now in police custody, 10 pedestrians were also injured in this incident. The police say that the condition of the injured does not appear to be serious or unstable. Earlier, an eyewitness had reported to AFP about the presence of armed police forces at the scene. No reports have yet been published regarding the identity of the arrested individual and how the vehicle entered the sidewalk. London has previously witnessed a terrorist attack involving a vehicle. In mid-June of this year, a vehicle ran over several pedestrians on London Bridge, and those aboard attacked people with knives. The British police labeled these events at 'London Bridge' and 'Borough Market' as 'terrorist', which left seven dead and dozens injured. Last month, a bombing occurred at a station in the London Underground, after which the police arrested one person, raising the security level in Britain to its highest. This bombing was the fifth terrorist attack that had occurred in London in the past six months.
