Lexus, Benz, and Jaguar Added to Free Zone Vehicle Registration List

Donyaye Eghtesad: Iran's Customs has updated the list of brands and models of vehicles with free zone plates allowed to enter the mainland. According to Tasnim, based on a directive from the Director General of the Import Office of Iran's Customs to the managers of the country's operational customs, the list of brands and models of imported vehicles with free zone plates eligible for registration has been updated. According to this directive, which is based on the regulations of the Ministry of Industry, Mine, and Trade, brands such as Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, and Jaguar have been included in the new list of vehicles eligible for registration. This announcement has been issued to implement the regulations for the entry of vehicles with free zone plates into the mainland and will serve as the basis for the actions of operational customs in related processes.
