The Iranian Constitutional Party (Liberal Democratic) Hamburg branch held a conference on Saturday to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the party's establishment, discussing how to determine the government after the transition from the Islamic Republic. Nader Zahedi, a member of the Central Council of the Iranian Constitutional Party (Liberal Democratic), stated in an interview with Voice of America that 'we consider constitutional monarchy to be the best and most suitable regime and form of government for Iran, and we demand Prince Reza Pahlavi as the future king of Iran; however, as a democrat, if one day the people of Iran do not want the monarchy and do not vote for it, we cannot overturn the people's vote.' According to Mr. Zahedi, the determination of whether or not the monarchy is valid lies with the people. He emphasized that 'the freedom of the Iranian people is our heartfelt desire' and noted, 'We will strive for the prosperity of this country in a free Iran after the Islamic Republic.' The Iranian Constitutional Party (Liberal Democratic) believes that the overthrow of the Islamic Republic regime is the first step, and in the next step, actions must be taken to build a new Iranian society that can only be achieved with the participation of all people and various tendencies. Akbar Kashvari, another member of the Iranian Constitutional Party present at the meeting, stated in an interview with Voice of America that the main goal of this party is 'to preserve the territorial integrity of the country alongside all Iranian ethnicities' and to move past all violence and achieve liberal democracy.
