Benjamin Netanyahu: The Islamic Republic is still in shock from our attacks

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that Israel's extensive attacks in October against the Islamic Republic's positions severely surprised the regime, and the destruction of their air defense systems has shocked Iranian leaders. In this interview, he estimated the Islamic Republic's investment in Syria to maintain Bashar al-Assad at around $30 billion and in Lebanon to support Hezbollah at over $20 billion, stating, "All these expenses, along with the huge costs spent on Hamas, have been wasted due to Israeli actions." Referring to the war with Hamas and efforts for a ceasefire in Gaza and Hamas's future, he emphasized, "We will not agree to stop the war until we completely destroy Hamas, but we will agree to a temporary ceasefire in the form of an agreement for the release of hostages." The Israeli Prime Minister also referred to Israel's extensive operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon, mentioning the operation that exploded thousands of pagers belonging to Hezbollah members as "the largest precision targeting in history." He noted that during the operations against Hezbollah, Israel succeeded in destroying most of the ballistic missile stockpiles of this Iran-backed group and severely weakened it by eliminating its leaders. According to Netanyahu, Israel has managed to "break the axis of the Islamic Republic, Hezbollah, and Hamas from the middle" in the past year, delivering a heavy blow to this coalition. The war between Israel and Hamas began on October 7, 2023, when Iran-backed Palestinian militants attacked Israel, killing 1,200 people and taking 250 hostage.
