Blinken: U.S. Weapons Help Stabilize Ukraine's Frontline

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said on Wednesday that American weapons sent to Kyiv are helping to stabilize the frontline in Ukraine amid intensified Russian attacks. According to Reuters, Mr. Blinken, who is visiting Moldova, also stated that Washington is 'adapting' and 'adjusting' its support for Ukraine according to the conditions of the war. The U.S. Secretary of State traveled to Moldova to meet and discuss with pro-Western President Maia Sandu. Moldova is the first stop on Blinken's current trip to Europe. The U.S. Secretary of State is expected to strengthen the support of NATO members and Ukraine's neighboring countries for Kyiv during his European tour. The United States has stated that it does not encourage Ukraine to use American weapons for direct attacks on Russia, but when asked at a press conference about Washington's current position on this issue, Blinken said that U.S. policy will be adapted and adjusted. Russian President Vladimir Putin has warned that if Ukraine's Western allies allow Kyiv to use their military assistance to attack inside Russia, a global conflict will occur.
