Bloomberg: The Islamic Republic's Focus on European Teenagers to Attack Jewish Targets

According to Bloomberg, the Islamic Republic has organized and recruited teenagers through affiliated networks to attack Israeli and Jewish targets in Europe. These actions are part of Tehran's efforts to transfer its proxy war against Israel onto European soil. The report indicates that a series of incidents in Sweden, Belgium, and Norway reflect this covert campaign. In Stockholm, a 15-year-old boarded a taxi with a gun intending to go to the Israeli embassy, but he was arrested by Swedish police before reaching his destination as he did not know the exact location of the embassy. In Gothenburg, a 13-year-old shot at the building of defense company Elbit Systems, and in a separate incident, a 16-year-old along with a 23-year-old accomplice planted homemade bombs near the entrance of this building. These incidents suggest a connection to a larger network, the main orchestrators of which have not yet been identified. Reports indicate that the Islamic Republic uses criminal networks such as 'Foxtrot' and 'Ramba' to carry out these operations. These groups provide cover for the Islamic Republic's activities against Jewish and Israeli targets in Europe. Financial payments for these attacks are usually low, ranging from about 120 euros for small attacks like using Molotov cocktails to 1500 euros for more serious crimes like murder. In response to these threats, countries like Norway have raised their terrorism alert levels and implemented stricter security measures, such as armed police and border controls. Security agencies in several countries have warned about the increasing threat of attacks linked to the Islamic Republic in Europe. During university protests around the world in support of Palestinians, there was also evidence of indirect support from the Islamic Republic for groups related to Palestine. For example, groups like 'American Muslims for Palestine' that participated in these protests have previously been linked to organizations that financially supported Hamas.
