Britain: The Construction of the 'Fattah' Missile is a Serious Threat to Global Security

The British government, in response to claims by the Islamic Republic regarding the construction of a 'hypersonic' missile called 'Fattah', stated that this action violates international restrictions and indicates a serious threat from the Iranian regime to global security. A spokesperson for the UK Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office said in a statement on Tuesday, June 6: 'Despite repeated requests from the UN Security Council to halt its destabilizing programs, Iran has announced the construction of a new ballistic missile, and the release of this news just weeks after Iran's claim of a successful ballistic missile launch demonstrates this country's ongoing disregard for international restrictions and the serious threat posed by the regime to global security.'
