According to ABC, the main suspect, a 19-year-old, was arrested in Traun near Vienna, while the second suspect was apprehended in the Austrian capital. Franz Ruf, head of the public security department at the Austrian Ministry of the Interior, stated that officials were aware of 'preliminary actions' regarding a potential attack and noted that the 19-year-old had a focus on Taylor Swift's concerts in Vienna. Ruf mentioned that this young man had pledged allegiance to the Islamic State (ISIS) and was said to have been radicalized online. He added that some chemicals had been secured and that authorities were assessing them, but he did not provide further details. It was previously reported that Swift had scheduled concerts in Vienna on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, with security measures for these events being heightened.
