Change in Iran's Women's Futsal National Team Coach

The Iranian Football Federation has appointed a new head coach for the women's national futsal team, but Shahnaz Yari claims she has neither resigned nor received a dismissal order. Yari emphasized that she does not know the reason for such a change and has not participated in any official matches to be dismissed due to poor performance. The dismissed coach stated to IRNA that the competitions in Russia were preparatory and aimed at testing the team. Expecting Spain, the world runner-up, to lose to Iran, which was in its conditioning phase, is completely unreasonable. Yari believes that with less than three months until the team's departure for the Asian Cup, any change could have negative impacts on the team's progress, and the consequences of emotional and unprofessional decisions will affect the team and women's sports. She reminded that she has not yet received an official dismissal order and was told to resign personally, which she did not accept. A similar incident occurred in Bahman 1392 when Shahrzad Mozaffar, who had led the national team to the Asian runner-up position, suddenly resigned. This unexpected resignation had been announced a few days earlier and faced protests from national team players. Farideh Shojaei, the then Vice President of Women's Football Federation, also stated to ISNA that she was surprised by Mozaffar's resignation and was unaware of what had happened, as there had been no disagreements between them, and the federation did not want to lose its good coaches. Now, Forouzan Soleimani has been introduced as the new head coach of the women's national futsal team. She has a championship title in the women's futsal league and has previously collaborated with the national futsal team's technical staff. The head of women's affairs at the football federation stated about the changes: 'Shahnaz Yari had announced that she was unable to cooperate with one of the coaches. We wanted her to interact, but unfortunately, Yari could not.' Elahe Arab Amiri further stated: 'We realized that this team needs a conditioning coach; unfortunately, the head coach could not interact again. We concluded that cooperation with this head coach is not feasible.'
