Clinton Announces Date for Her First Major Campaign

Hillary Clinton, the Democratic primary candidate for the 2016 U.S. presidential election, will kick off her first major campaign on June 13 (three weeks from now). This campaign, the location of which has not yet been specified, comes a few weeks after Clinton's small-scale campaign activities, which were primarily focused on small meetings with ordinary people in towns and small areas. On the official Twitter account of Hillary Clinton's campaign, it was announced on May 21 that her first campaign speech will take place at her first major campaign event on June 13 (June 23). Clinton has spent the past weeks meeting face-to-face with people and small business owners. This U.S. presidential candidate has been visiting small businesses and their owners in states like Iowa and New Hampshire, which are among the first to vote in the party's primary elections to determine the final nominee. According to AFP, early polls estimate Clinton's chances of being declared the final Democratic nominee to be higher than those of other potential candidates in her party, as well as her overall chances of winning the election being better than many potential Republican candidates. Marco Rubio, the 43-year-old senator, Jeb Bush, the former governor of Florida and brother of former President George Bush, Senator Rand Paul, and Senator Ted Cruz are among those in the Republican Party preparing for the primary campaign or are said to be considering participation. The 58th U.S. presidential election will be held on November 8, 2016.
