Some Middle Eastern countries condemned the killing of Palestinian civilians during a special Israeli operation on Saturday to rescue four hostages abducted by Hamas during the terrorist attack on October 7 at the 'Supernova' music festival. The spokesperson for the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Nasser Kanani, condemned the 'heinous crimes' in the Nuseirat refugee camp on Saturday. This statement was published on the official Foreign Ministry account on the social media platform X. The Kuwaiti Foreign Ministry also announced on Sunday that this attack is a 'clear violation of international law and international humanitarian law.' The ministry called on the international community and the UN Security Council to stop what it termed 'Israel's aggression against the Palestinians' and emphasized the necessity of providing humanitarian aid and protecting the people of Gaza. The Hamas Health Ministry in Gaza claims that 274 Palestinians were killed in this attack. However, the Israeli army rejected this figure, stating that the death toll is below 100. During the terrorist attack on October 7, Palestinian militants killed 1,200 people, mostly civilians, including women, children, and the elderly, and took 253 others as hostages to the Gaza Strip. Currently, more than 100 hostages remain captive by Palestinian militants. Hamas is recognized as a terrorist organization by the United States, Israel, the European Union, the United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, and several other countries. Sullivan called for Hamas to accept Israel's conditions for a ceasefire and the release of hostages.
