On Friday, following the release of these AI-generated images, the White House called the action concerning and urged social media managers to enforce rules against the dissemination of false and offensive information. The White House press secretary stated on Friday: 'We are concerned about the dissemination of fake images on social media, although the companies owning social media applications have independent policies in content management, we believe they should properly enforce rules related to preventing the spread of false and offensive information and images.'
