After Charles III's coronation, his wife Camilla also wore a crown. During the ceremony, the Archbishop of Canterbury, Prince William, and attendees took an oath of loyalty to King Charles III. In another part of the ceremony, Charles III and his wife appeared on the famous balcony of Buckingham Palace with some family members and waved to the people. Among the royal family, two controversial figures were present. Prince Andrew, the brother of King Charles, who made headlines due to his friendship with a billionaire accused of child sexual abuse in America, attended the ceremony. He has denied allegations of sexual relations with a teenage girl. Prince Harry, the younger son of King Charles III, was also present at the ceremony. He has been in the news due to disagreements with the royal family, and on this day, his American wife was not present with him at the ceremony. Both were absent from the ceremony of the king and queen on the balcony of Buckingham Palace. Simultaneously with the coronation ceremony, royal opponents held protests in London, and some of their activists were arrested. Several world leaders congratulated Charles III, King of Britain, and Queen Camilla on their coronation. Among them, Joe Biden, in a Twitter message expressing pride in his wife's presence at the coronation of King Charles III, considered the enduring friendship between the United States and Britain as a source of strength for both countries.
