Death to Khamenei slogans in Tehran; protesters in Zahedan: I will take back your blood, my dear brother

Following the execution of three defendants in the 'Isfahan House' case on the morning of Friday, May 29, protesters in various cities across Iran condemned these executions with slogans. Videos shared on social media indicate that in some neighborhoods of Tehran, slogans against Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic, were chanted. The Twitter account 'Ekbatān Town' published a video from this town showing protesters chanting slogans such as 'Death to Khamenei the killer, death to the youth-killing regime, death to the Islamic Republic, death to the dictator, and death to the executioner regime.' The tweet also mentioned that after the execution of the Isfahan House youths, 'anger is boiling.' Additionally, participants in the weekly protests in Zahedan after Friday prayers shouted: 'My dear brother, I will take back your blood.' Meanwhile, the Hengaw human rights organization strongly condemned the execution of these three individuals, stating that they were deprived of the most basic rights of defense as defendants and called for special attention from international human rights organizations and Western governments to the wave of executions in Iran. The organization emphasized that the international community must utilize all existing mechanisms to stop executions in Iran. Furthermore, Dadban, a legal consulting and training center for activists, tweeted: 'All investigations by the Dadban legal consulting center into the details of the Isfahan House case and the verdicts of these defendants reveal very fundamental flaws and ambiguities, and the security agencies provided no evidence, documentation, or credible proof to substantiate the charges.' Mizan, a news agency affiliated with the judiciary of the Islamic Republic, announced on Friday, May 29, that Saleh Mirhashimi, Majid Kazemi Sheikh Shabani, and Saeed Yaghoubi Kord Safli, the defendants in the 'Isfahan House' case, were executed early Friday morning. These three were accused of killing two Basij members and a police officer, a charge they and their families have repeatedly denied. The three defendants also stated that they were forced to make televised confessions after severe torture.
