Details of Potential Ceasefire and Release of Hostages Held by Hamas Published

Israeli television network "Kan" reported on Tuesday evening, January 8, that it has obtained the details of the negotiations for a potential ceasefire and the release of hostages currently taking place in Doha, Qatar. The network stated that it acquired the negotiation document after it was presented to the Israeli security cabinet. According to this document, immediately after reaching an agreement, the process of releasing all Israeli hostages, whether civilians or soldiers, living or deceased, will begin, and in return, a predetermined number of Palestinian prisoners will be released from Israeli prisons. The negotiations stipulate that Hamas will start the release of hostages with women and living individuals, releasing three hostages every seven days, and that Hamas must submit a list of all hostages to Israel no later than one week after the ceasefire begins. The document also states that a sustainable ceasefire will lead to a permanent ceasefire, the withdrawal of Israeli forces from the Gaza Strip, and the reconstruction of the area. It indicates that the ongoing negotiations between Israel and Hamas in Doha have discussed the withdrawal of Israel from central Gaza, "mainly from the Netzarim corridor," and the dismantling of military bases in the area. Israel has agreed to allow humanitarian aid to be sent to the Gaza Strip as soon as the agreement is implemented. According to the Kan network, Israel has agreed that in the first phase of post-war reconstruction in Gaza, infrastructure will be repaired, debris will be cleared, and at least 60,000 caravans and 200,000 tents will be sent to the region.
