Lara Trump, Donald Trump's daughter-in-law and Vice Chair of the Republican National Committee, responded to CNN's question about what Trump supporters should do if he is imprisoned, saying, "They will do what they have always done, which is to keep their calm and express their protest by voting on November 5." She added, "There is nothing that can be done except to raise your voice loud and clear to others and speak out against this issue." A Manhattan grand jury ruled on April 10, 2023, that Donald Trump should be formally charged in the hush money case involving Stormy Daniels, a pornographic actress. In response, Trump described the jury's decision as 'political revenge' aimed at influencing the 2024 presidential election and stated that he would appeal the ruling. Stormy Daniels, whose real name is Stephanie Clifford, broke her silence in an interview with the English newspaper 'Mirror' published on Saturday afternoon, stating, "I think he should be sentenced to prison and also perform community service, like working for low-income individuals or volunteering as a boxing shield in a women's shelter." After years of verbal battles and insults exchanged online, Daniels now claims she has been 'finally exonerated,' although she is 'shocked' by the speed of the jury's decision, which makes Trump the first former president in U.S. history to be convicted of a crime. Trump is charged with 34 counts of felony in falsifying and forging business records, which the prosecutor claims was aimed at concealing the hush money payment. Stormy Daniels stated that this case is not over for her; "It will never be over for me. Trump may be guilty, but I still have to live with the legacy of this issue." In a recent documentary, she revealed that behind her seemingly tough and humorous persona on social media lies a person who has been hurt by the constant insults from Trump and his supporters.
