A source close to Soori Babaei Chaghini, a political prisoner in Chobin-Dar prison in Qazvin, told Voice of America that Aida Morad Behrouzi, the teenage daughter of this political prisoner, has been missing for more than a week. Aida Morad Behrouzi is the child of Reza Morad Behrouzi, a former political prisoner, and Soori Babaei Chaghini. This informed source told Voice of America: 'Aida Morad Behrouzi and her classmate, Hasti Mohammadi, left home at noon on February 11 to go to school and have been missing for over a week.' According to this report, despite the families of the two teenagers informing the 'police, intelligence, and judiciary,' 'no sufficient and effective action has been taken to find' these two teenagers, and the families have been told 'we cannot find them.' The informed source also added that Fathollah Ali-Mohammadi, the prosecutor and head of the judiciary in Mohammadiyeh, Qazvin province, told Soori Babaei Chaghini, 'Because your daughter is missing, if you wear a headscarf and express regret, we will allow you to be released on bail and find your daughter.' Soori Babaei Chaghini, an opponent of mandatory hijab in Qazvin who has a history of arrest, was arrested again on July 16 of this year along with his wife, Mohammad Reza Morad Behrouzi, by plainclothes agents and is currently imprisoned in Chobin prison in Qazvin. This political prisoner has been in jail for about 20 months, while his maximum sentence was one year. Previously, a source close to this imprisoned civil activist reported to Voice of America that the Revolutionary Court of Qazvin had sentenced Soori Babaei Chaghini to 'seven months in prison' in another case.
