Execution of Two Drug Offenders in Kerman

The news website "Halvash" reported the execution of two drug offenders in the early hours of Tuesday, August 7, including a Baluch prisoner in Kerman prison. According to this news website, the identity of the Baluch prisoner is "Abdul Ghafar Shaiki," who had previously been sentenced to death on drug-related charges. There is no information available about the identity of the other executed prisoner, who is an Afghan national and was executed on drug-related charges. Based on the report from "Halvash," between August 8 and 10, at least 12 Baluch prisoners were executed in the prisons of Zahedan, Zabol, and Birjand within 48 hours.
