Fear of 'Youth Buried in the Soil'; On the Eve of 'Abulfazl Adinehzadeh's' Birthday, All His Relatives Were Arrested

Reports circulating on social media indicate that one day before the birthday of 'Abulfazl Adinehzadeh', a victim of the nationwide protests, security forces raided the village where his family resides and arrested all family members, including Abulfazl's mother, aunts, uncles, and other relatives. Prior to this action, images of Abulfazl Adinehzadeh's grave were published, showing his mother announcing the arrest of 'Abulfazl's sister, father, and uncle' and their transfer to an unknown location, pleading for help from the public. The arrests of the Adinehzadeh family occur while a ceremony is scheduled for Saturday, June 17, to commemorate the birthday of this teenager at his grave in Najafabad village in Faruj County, Razavi Khorasan Province. Abulfazl Adinehzadeh was born on June 17, 2005, and was injured on October 8, 2022, during the nationwide protests in front of Ferdowsi University in Mashhad, later dying after being transferred to the hospital. On Sunday, June 11, the anniversary of Kian Pirfalak's birthday, a child killed in Izeh, was turned into chaos by security forces. Following the security atmosphere in Izeh, media reported that during Kian's birthday commemoration in the village of 'Parchestan', Pouya Molaei Rad, Kian Pirfalak's maternal cousin, was shot dead by the Islamic Republic's security forces. This action sparked public outrage in Izeh, while government-affiliated media attempted to narrate and imply that Kian's family, especially his mother, were responsible for the incident. The lack of information about the Pirfalak family's situation in recent days has caused public concern and various speculations in this regard. On June 14, Erfan Mortazavi, Mahsa (Zhina) Amini's cousin, told the Persian section of Voice of America that the municipality of Saqez has been instructed to change the main road to Aichi Cemetery, which currently passes by Mahsa Amini's grave, to make access to her grave more difficult for people and vehicles. He described these actions as an attempt to 'erase Zhina's grave' and added that the Amini family is protesting and filing complaints against these actions. The burning of Majid Kazemi's grave on the eve of his birthday, the destruction of Abulfazl Adinehzadeh's grave, the destruction of Milad Saidianjou's grave, a victim of the protests on November 16, 2022, disrespect to the grave of Mohsen Shekari, a protester executed by the Islamic Republic, and graffiti on Kian Pirfalak's gravestone are among the actions taken by forces affiliated with the Islamic Republic against the victims of the nationwide protests in Iran over the past month.
