FIFA Bans Tractor Sazi from Transfers After Esteghlal

Following the ban on Esteghlal Tehran from winter transfers, Tractor Sazi Tabriz has also faced a transfer ban from FIFA. Portuguese player Jao Vila, who was a member of the club four years ago, filed a complaint with FIFA for an unpaid debt of 577,000 euros and won the case. Portuguese coach Toni Oliveira, who has managed the team at three different times, also filed a complaint with FIFA regarding his unpaid dues. FIFA has given Tractor Sazi until February 12 (22 Bahman) to pay the coach's claims. If Tractor Sazi fails to pay Toni's claims, they will lose six points, effectively removing them from the championship race in the Premier League. In the Esteghlal team, FIFA's ban led to the cancellation of contracts for Andranik Timuryan and Server Jabarov. However, the playing cards for Roozbeh Cheshmi and Andranik Timuryan were issued for Esteghlal, and their names were confirmed by the Football Federation in the Asian list, indicating that the federation was also involved in the cases of these two players. In the case of Tractor Sazi players, two players received their playing cards on the first day of the winter transfer window and played in their first match. Hashem Beikzadeh also played in the last two matches for Tractor with the playing card issued by the federation, despite being unable to play for his team according to the announced ban. The sports website Varzesh 3 reported: 'If Iranian clubs complain to FIFA about this violation, FIFA could take action against the Iranian Federation, and this ban could even lead to the suspension of Iranian football.' The report stated that issuing playing cards for Tractor Sazi and Esteghlal will incur significant costs for the federation and the league organization, and if the complaining clubs, namely Esteghlal Khuzestan, Paykan, Naft Abadan, and Machine Sazi, report to FIFA, it could create a major headache for Iranian football. Mehdi Mahmoudi, a legal expert in Iranian football, stated that FIFA has penalties ranging from financial fines and declaring results 3-0 to relegation in its regulations, and it remains to be seen what decision will be made regarding this negligence. Previously, similar penalties had been applied to the teams of Steel Azin, Barq Shiraz, and Shahrdari Tabriz. Mr. Mahmoudi told Varzesh 3 that in the case of Motumba in the Rah Ahan team, the disciplinary committee deemed this player unauthorized but did not declare the match results 3-0.
