Following the Second Assassination Attempt on Trump; Biden: The Secret Service Needs More Help

One day after the shooting by an individual who appears to have made the second assassination attempt on Donald Trump in the past two months, Joe Biden, the President of the United States, stated that the agents of the "Secret Service," responsible for protecting important figures, need more assistance to carry out their security tasks. Trump, the former President of the United States and candidate for the presidential election on November 5 this year, was unharmed during the shooting incident on Sunday in Florida. Kamala Harris, Biden's vice president and Trump's electoral rival from the Democratic Party, said earlier on Sunday, "I am glad he is safe. Violence has no place in America." Trump was approximately 365 to 455 meters away from the point where a Secret Service agent saw a rifle barrel emerge from between a chain-link fence among the bushes of Trump's golf club in West Palm Beach, Florida. The Secret Service agent fired at least four shots at the armed individual, but none of the bullets hit him. Ryan Wesley Root, 58, was arrested by officers in Florida. Officials stated that the suspect, identified as Ryan Wesley Root, 58, abandoned his rifle and a "GoPro" camera along with several backpacks and fled in a black Nissan vehicle. Rick Bradshaw, the Palm Beach County Sheriff, said that a witness saw the armed man and managed to take a photo of the vehicle and its license plate before he fled. The Federal Bureau of Investigation: The shooting incident near Trump appears to be an "attempted assassination." Trump expressed gratitude to law enforcement for "keeping him safe": "I am proud to be an American." A federal court in the United States charged the suspect in the attempted assassination of Trump with two counts related to firearms. A Pakistani individual accused of attempting to hire a "hitman" on behalf of the Islamic Republic is being sent to court.
