According to these media outlets, Al-Fayed's family announced in a statement on Friday that 'Mrs. Al-Fayed, her children, and grandchildren confirm that Mohamed, their beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on Wednesday, August 30, 2030, due to old age.' The Fulham Football Club, which Mr. Al-Fayed owned for many years, also described his death as 'very sad' and stated: 'Our promotion to the Premier League, the Europa League final, and the magical moments left by players and teams are the legacy of Mohamed Al-Fayed that will be remembered forever.' However, the main chapter of Mohamed Al-Fayed's life was the death of his son alongside Princess Diana, a moment that kept him engaged for years in solving the mystery of the deaths of 'Dodi' and 'Diana.' 'Dodi,' the son of Mohamed Al-Fayed, was a film producer and 'the love partner of Diana,' the Princess of Wales, both of whom died in a suspicious car accident in 1997. According to British media, Mr. Al-Fayed never recovered from the shock of his son's death and spent many years investigating the cause of this accident. In February 2008, he claimed that the deaths of Princess Diana and his son were orchestrated by Prince Philip with the complicity of the British intelligence service. However, the coroner and the court rejected this claim, deeming it a 'conspiracy theory.' Mohamed Al-Fayed, a prominent businessman, began his activities selling soft drinks on the streets of his hometown, Alexandria, Egypt. He then connected through his marriage to the Khashoggi family in Saudi Arabia. In 1966, he became an advisor to one of the world's wealthiest men, the Sultan of Brunei.
