France Warns Iran About Consequences of Drone Delivery to Russia

Emmanuel Macron, the President of France, on Saturday warned the Islamic Republic during a phone conversation with Ebrahim Raisi about the consequences of delivering drones to Russia. According to a statement from the French presidency, Macron urged the Iranian president to 'immediately' stop supporting Russia's war efforts against Ukraine. In another part of the phone conversation, the French president expressed concern about the trajectory of the Islamic Republic's nuclear program. According to Iranian media, Ebrahim Raisi also requested during this '90-minute' call to 'avoid any political maneuvering and unconstructive actions in the negotiations to lift sanctions.'
