From the 'Wise Man' of the Region to the 'Hitler' of the Middle East; Khamenei's Foreign Policy

His supporters and close associates consider his foreign policy as the savior of the Middle East, and his 'designated soldier' in the region - Qassem Soleimani - passionately praises his 'wise leadership' in a letter. Critics and opponents say his policies are a source of evil, to the extent that his young Saudi rival in the region - Mohammed bin Salman - refers to him as the 'new Hitler' of the Middle East, expanding borders. Ali Khamenei, the helmsman and final arbiter of the Islamic Republic of Iran's grand policy, claims he does not take anyone into consideration. He states he stands firm and will continue to play a role wherever necessary. From Lebanon to Venezuela, from Afghanistan to Iraq, Yemen, Syria, and Bahrain; should Iran play a role in the political affairs of other countries? Are these policies ultimately in the service of Iran's national interests or detrimental to them?
