Gas Consumption Alarm Sounds; Gas Supply Far Off; Gas Cutoff Very Close

Following the activity of a precipitation system and a noticeable drop in temperature across most regions of Iran, the gas consumption alarm has been sounded, and the director of the Gas Network Operations Center has reported that gas consumption in Iran has exceeded 70% of production. Accordingly, it has been announced that daily gas consumption over the past 24 hours has reached 611 million cubic meters. According to the newspaper 'Donya-e-Eqtesad', citing Saeed Aghli, this figure is more than 70% of the total gas produced in Iran. He warned that with the continued drop in temperature across Iran in the coming week, gas consumption will exceed 650 million cubic meters. This government official urged the public to conserve gas to 'prevent gas cuts during cold days,' a matter that seems to be one of Iran's challenges in the coming days.
