Golrokh Iraei: The Islamic Republic Has Neither Legitimacy Inside Nor Acceptance Outside

The page attributed to Golrokh Iraei, a political activist imprisoned in Evin Prison, wrote on the social media platform 'X' quoting her that in the new year, 'we are faced with a body of the Islamic Republic that has neither legitimacy inside the country nor acceptance in the international arena.' In her message, Ms. Iraei stated: 'In the past year, many were executed and many others were forced to emigrate and leave their homeland.' This political prisoner, referring to the conditions of Zeinab Jalalian, Maryam Akbari Monfared, and the families of the plaintiffs, wrote to them: 'You live the resistance and turn the thick page of history that bears the scars of over a century of tyranny and repression.'
