Google Introduces New Products

The wait is finally over as Google has unveiled its new products, with the Pixel 3 being described as the most important among them. According to Google, the Pixel 3 takes better photos than the new iPhones and is smarter. The 'Pixel 3' and 'Pixel 3 XL' have grown larger compared to previous generations. The XL model features a 6.3-inch display with a resolution of 1440×2960, while the Pixel 3 has a 5.5-inch display. To make a simple comparison, these phones are 0.3 and 0.5 inches larger than their predecessors. The design of these phones has not changed much, and the previous design method continues to be followed. These two phones use the Snapdragon 845 chip and have four gigabytes of RAM. On paper, these two phones have weaker processors compared to Apple's new products and are also weaker against some Android phones like the Note 9 or OnePlus 6, which have six and eight gigabytes of RAM. Unlike other companies, Google still uses a single lens on the back of the phone. New Huawei phones have three lenses on the back, and the new Nokia phone is expected to have even more lenses. However, Google claims that it performs most of the work of other companies using artificial intelligence. The Pixel 3 XL has a large notch at the top of the display that houses two 8-megapixel selfie cameras with wide-angle capabilities. The Google Pixel 3, however, does not have a notch at the top and uses a single selfie camera. Google claims that the Pixel 3 can take better photos than Apple's iPhone XS. Both new Google phones use a 12-megapixel main camera, and their imaging power is due to the use of the Pixel Visual Core chip. One of the features of the Pixel 3 camera is the 'Night Sight' mode. Using this system, the phone's camera captures good photos in low-light conditions, and as Google claims, better than all competitors. To prove this claim, Google showcased two photos taken under the same conditions, one with the Pixel 3 and the other with the iPhone XS. While the iPhone photo is dark and dimly lit, the Pixel 3 photo is in the best lighting conditions; however, this claim by Google cannot yet be independently accepted. The Pixel 3 XL features wireless charging. Both phones are available in two versions: 64 and 128 gigabytes. The price of the Pixel 3 with 64 gigabytes of internal memory is $799. The 128-gigabyte model is priced at $899, and the Pixel 3 XL in the 64-gigabyte version is priced at $899 and the 128-gigabyte model at $999. It can be said that in terms of maximum memory, these phones lag behind their competitors at Apple, Samsung, and other companies. However, Google offers some features exclusively to users of these phones; for example, Smart Compose in Gmail will initially be available only to Pixel phone users. Smart Compose is the ability to write intelligently based on artificial intelligence in Gmail. Smart writing is one of the technologies that is expanding based on artificial intelligence and machine learning. This method will intelligently write the next sentences for a user before they want to type something. For instance, when a person types the word 'address', Smart Compose understands that they want to write their address. On the other hand, Google Duplex will be released for Pixels earlier than all phones. Google Duplex allows a machine to talk to you over the phone without you realizing you are conversing with a device. Google Duplex operates in a way that seems natural, and people conversing with it believe they are talking to a human, not a machine. Another significant product from Google is the Google Pixel Slate, a new tablet that will be released to compete with Apple's iPad Pro. This product can be converted into a device with laptop functionalities with a detachable keyboard. Although such products are not new, Google emphasizes the functionality of its device. The 12.3-inch display of this device has a 3:2 aspect ratio with a resolution of 3000 pixels by 2000 pixels. There are two USB-C ports on the edges of this tablet's display, which can be considered an advantage over Apple tablets. However, tablets from companies like Microsoft or Lenovo have been using this method for years. This tablet is priced starting at $599, reaching up to $1599 for the most powerful model. Its keyboard and stylus are sold separately, priced at $199 and $99, respectively. The most powerful model of this device uses an Intel Core i7 processor, 16 gigabytes of RAM, and 256 gigabytes of internal memory. This device runs on Chrome OS. Alongside these products, Google also unveiled the Home Hub smart speaker and its first USB-C earbuds. The Home Hub is Google's first smart speaker equipped with a display. At the launch event for the new products, Google announced that Google Translate processes an average of 143 billion words daily.
