The Aftab Yazd newspaper evaluated the statements of several eulogists over the past week as 'continuation of insults to Hassan Rouhani' and wrote that the eulogists 'have become a sort of party for themselves and intervene and comment on almost all matters. The Qanoon newspaper humorously addressed this ban in its 'Unlawful' page, quoting 'a responsible official' as saying: 'The possibility of watching the volleyball matches for women has been provided, of course from inside their homes.' The Qanoon, Shargh, and Aftab Yazd newspapers dedicated their front pages to the renewed attacks of eulogists on Hassan Rouhani and Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani. The Qanoon newspaper, with the headline 'Unrestrained Attack on the President,' wrote: 'Although it is not surprising to hear politically challenging comments as the elections approach, the remarks made on Thursday by Saeed Hadadian, a eulogist supporting Ahmadinejad, towards our President are astonishing.' The Jahan San'at newspaper, while publishing a report titled 'Duel of Government and Telecommunications,' reported on the 'display of power' by the current owners of the telecommunications company with the announcement of the transfer of the most profitable shares. Following the attacks by media close to conservatives on the publication of a plan in the Arman newspaper regarding the funeral ceremony for Iranian divers killed in the war, the editor-in-chief of Arman published an explanation in the Saturday issue of this newspaper, stating: 'The interpretations presented are more political than professional graphic and are based more on external factors that try to impose and convey the essence of the subject as they interpret it.' You go and do your surfing and jet skiing. Your remarks about the people's pockets are laughable coming from you.' The newspaper referred to Saeed Hadadian as 'the eulogist who was in Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's election campaign in 2009' and wrote that now this eulogist has also addressed Hashemi, saying: 'I have a few words with Mr. Hashemi. One is: Who was the commander in Karbala Four? It was you. In 1986, you were the commander. If you truly care for these people, answer my three or four questions. One: Which holiday did you leave Kish and go to the fronts? So many people went to visit the places of their friends' martyrdom. How do these people go to visit the places of their martyrs? How do these parents go to visit the places of their children? How do these brothers and sisters go to visit their loved ones? You go jet skiing!?' According to the Shargh newspaper, this eulogist also said: 'For years, our dispute with Mr. Hashemi was that the Supreme Leader lives on the basis of the asceticism that Islam demands from the officials of the Islamic system; why don't you learn? You who have, how come you suddenly remember the ascetics? About the trial of Mehdi? The accusations against him [Mehdi Hashemi] are partly related to these sanctions. When he was engaged in this great corruption, did you care for the people!?' The newspaper, however, reminded that 'Mohammad Ahmadinejad is also not spared from Saeed Hadadian's remarks,' and this eulogist, 'along with his like-minded colleagues, played a significant role in the 2005 elections in favor of Ahmadinejad,' now referring to the former President's presence at the funeral of the Iranian martyrs, said: 'I also disagree that someone with cleverness and cunning goes up there and sits in a place where he does not belong. That place was for the mourners.' The Shargh newspaper, referring to the political statements of some eulogists, including Mansour Arzi and Mahmoud Karimi, reminded that Saeed Hadadian is the same eulogist who 'was with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and stood behind Ahmadinejad at his victory celebration on June 14, 2009, in Vali Asr Square in Tehran.' This newspaper also wrote: 'During the 2013 presidential elections, some eulogists were among the supporters of Saeed Jalili.' The Aftab Yazd newspaper evaluated the statements of several eulogists over the past week as 'continuation of insults to Hassan Rouhani' and wrote that the eulogists 'have become a sort of party for themselves and intervene and comment on almost all matters. Aftab Yazd emphasized that 'this point clearly shows that the political arena is not a suitable field for the eulogists to roam,' stating that now 'some eulogists have directed their artillery towards the government [of Hassan Rouhani] and its supporters' and are trying 'to weaken the executive power and initiate a new phase of concern.' This newspaper stressed that the beginning of the renewed attacks by eulogists on the government was from Tuesday and the funeral of the Iranian divers killed in the war, where a famous eulogist [Mahmoud Karimi] insulted Hassan Rouhani from the podium of the martyrs' funeral, saying: 'If you can't do it, step aside,' and two days later, Saeed Hadadian 'another eulogist supporting the previous government and opposing the current government insulted the President of Iran.' Some say you bought telecommunications cheaply; at that time you were satisfied, and we also bought this company's shares at twice the selling price. Officials have priced each telecommunications share at 220 tomans, while we bought each share at 340 tomans and invested 11 trillion tomans in this sector since privatization.' This newspaper pointed out that these remarks were made by the Chairman of the Board of Telecommunications and 'in a harsh tone on Tuesday, Khordad 25.'
