Hezbollah Reports Three Members Killed in Southern Lebanon

Hezbollah Lebanon announced on Monday via its Telegram account that three of its armed forces were killed in southern Lebanon. According to Reuters, the statement did not detail how these three were killed, but it was mentioned that they were "martyred in the path of (liberating) Jerusalem." Security sources stated that the three were killed in an Israeli attack on two houses in the village of Kafr Kila in Lebanon, near the border that Hezbollah controls security over. Since the start of the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza in October, Hezbollah has been engaged in clashes with Israel almost daily along the southern Lebanese borders. The Israeli army announced on Monday that it had targeted a series of sites in Lebanon, including "military locations" where Hezbollah was active. According to security sources and Hezbollah, Israeli airstrikes and shelling have so far killed over 100 Hezbollah forces and nearly 24 civilians, including children, the elderly, and several journalists. Since Hamas's attack on southern Israel on October 7, Hezbollah has attacked Israel several times, including with rockets. Both groups are supported by the Islamic Republic. The United States has ended the mission of the aircraft carrier "Ford" in the Middle East after three extensions, while Israel is reducing its forces in Gaza in preparation for a potential broader conflict with Hezbollah.
