Houthis Claim Responsibility for Attack on Cargo Ship in the Red Sea

The Houthi group of Yemen claimed responsibility on Tuesday for a missile attack on a cargo ship in the Red Sea and an attempted drone attack on Israel. According to Reuters, a spokesperson for Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC) stated that no crew members were harmed in the attack on the ship named 'MSC United 8', which was traveling from Saudi Arabia to Pakistan. The captain of 'MSC United 8' also reported to a coalition naval warship that it had been targeted. The Houthis, who control the capital and some regions of Yemen, are proxy groups supported by the Islamic Republic in the Middle East.
