It contains eight cores, with two cores for turbo performance, two cores for long-term performance, and the remaining four cores, which are the weakest, handle regular processing tasks. This method reduces energy consumption and battery life. Huawei states that the Kirin 980 performs about 75% better in performance and 58% better in energy consumption than the Kirin 970. The company claims the Kirin 980 outperforms the Snapdragon 845 by 37% in performance and 32% in energy consumption. Huawei has implemented a dual neural processing unit in this chip, which can recognize 4,500 images per minute. This number is reported to be 2,371 for the Snapdragon 845 and 1,458 for Apple's A11 chip. Lenovo also introduced new products. In recent years, Lenovo has grown significantly by acquiring companies like Motorola and the laptop manufacturing section of IBM known as ThinkPad, and now produces some of the most practical laptops in the world at reasonable prices. Among the most important laptops introduced is the Yoga C-930, which supports a stylus and easily converts to a tablet with a 360-degree hinge.
