Increase in Stabbings Between Arabs and Jews in Israel

A Jewish Israeli has injured two Arab Israelis and two Palestinians with a knife. In separate attacks, two Palestinians also injured an Israeli police officer and a teenager with a knife. According to reports from France Press and other news agencies, a young Israeli, approximately 20 years old, attacked four Arabs in the city of Dimona on Friday, October 8, injuring them with a knife. The police have arrested this young man. Two of the injured were Arab citizens of Israel, and the other two were Palestinians. The attacker stated that his motivation was to take revenge for recent Palestinian knife attacks on Jewish Israelis, adding that 'all Arabs are terrorists.' This is the first instance of a Jewish Israeli attacking Palestinian Arabs. Meanwhile, since last Saturday, 11 cases of Palestinian knife attacks on Israelis have been reported, resulting in the deaths of two Israelis. Despite this, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the Jewish attack on Arabs and called for an end to the violence. Tensions in Jerusalem and the West Bank have significantly increased in recent days, raising concerns about the escalation of violence. Hundreds of far-right Jews also protested in Jerusalem on Thursday night, chanting 'Death to Arabs.' A state of emergency has been declared across Israel.
