Maryam Rajavi: The mullahs’ regime, in fear of the uprising and the expansion of operations by rebellious youths, has resorted to more executions. Erfan’s charges as cited by the regime’s judiciary: Using Molotov cocktails, carrying cold weapons, blocking roads, and attacking agents. Death sentences for three other young rebellious youths in Tehran: Ehsan Hosseinipour, Matin Mohammadi, and Erfan Amiri

In another brutal crime, the regime’s judiciary hanged the brave rebellious youth, Erfan Kiani, a son of the people of Isfahan, early Saturday morning, April 25.

The regime’s judiciary announced Erfan’s charges as ‘destroying public and private property, setting fires, carrying and using Molotov cocktails, carrying cold weapons, blocking the path of vehicles, and attacking agents,’ adding that he acted as a leader for several others. It claimed that during the January uprising, ‘by carrying pre-prepared wooden boards and tires, he facilitated setting fires in the streets.’ The regime’s judiciary stated that the cases of 15 other individuals have been processed so far, and they have been ‘sentenced to prison’ (Mizan, April 25, 2026).

Meanwhile, in Tehran, the death sentences of three young rebellious youths, Ehsan Hosseinipour, Matin Mohammadi, and Erfan Amiri, have been upheld by the regime’s Supreme Court, and their cases have been forwarded to the Office for the Execution of Sentences. They are accused of attacking the gathering place of Basij members at a mosque in Pakdasht, Tehran, with Molotov cocktails during the January uprising and setting the headquarters on fire. Two Basijis were killed in this attack.

Mrs. Maryam Rajavi, President-elect of the National Council of Resistance of Iran (NCRI), stated that the mullahs’ regime, terrified of the escalation of popular uprisings and the expansion of operations by rebellious youths, sees erecting gallows and accelerating the issuance of death sentences as its only solution. However, it vainly attempts to escape its inevitable overthrow through relentless executions. These brutal executions will only further ignite the fire of the people’s anger and strengthen the resolve of the brave rebellious youths of Iran to overthrow the regime.

At dawn today, Erfan Kiani, a courageous young man from Isfahan, was executed by the brutal clerical dictatorship in Iran, joining the ranks of rebellious youth who have risen for freedom.

The ruling mullahs will gain nothing from these daily executions. Their attempt to escape…

— Maryam Rajavi (@Maryam_Rajavi) April 25, 2026

Mrs. Rajavi once again called for immediate and practical action by the United Nations Security Council and its member states to stop the executions and save the lives of prisoners on death row, emphasizing that the regime’s leaders must be brought to justice for more than four decades of crimes against humanity and genocide.
