The Iranian national futsal team achieved a decisive victory over Kyrgyzstan with a score of 10-1 on Thursday night (Tehran time) in their second match of the fifth Asian Futsal Championship. According to IRNA news agency, the match took place in front of over 10,000 spectators at the 12,000-seat Azadi Sports Complex in Tehran, solidifying Iran's advancement to the second round of the tournament. Overall, the Iranian players displayed a cohesive and coordinated performance compared to their first match against Lebanon. In this match, 'Tashmatov', a player from Kyrgyzstan, was sent off after receiving a second yellow card. The match was officiated by 'Ali Day' from Iraq and 'Sai Fiden Amanov' from Uzbekistan. At the end of the match, Vahid Shamsaei, a member of the Iranian futsal team, was recognized as the best player on the field. With this victory, Iran secured 6 points and a goal difference of +22, advancing as the top team from Group 3 and is set to face Uzbekistan next Sunday. Before the match between Iran and China in the Asian Futsal Championship, the eight teams advancing to the second round were determined: Japan and Kuwait from Group 1, South Korea and Taiwan from Group 2, Iran and Kyrgyzstan from Group 3, and Thailand and Uzbekistan from Group 4. The schedule for the second round, which will take place next Sunday at the 12,000-seat Azadi Sports Complex in Tehran, is as follows: Iran vs. Uzbekistan, Thailand vs. Kyrgyzstan, Japan vs. Taiwan, South Korea vs. Kuwait. In the continuation of the tournament, on Friday afternoon, Kyrgyzstan won against Lebanon with a score of 5-2 to advance as the second team from Group 3.
