Iran National Football Team Coach: We Will Line Up Offensively Against Jordan

The coach of the Iran national football team stated that in their upcoming match against Jordan in the Asian Cup qualifiers, they will adopt a fully offensive strategy. According to IRNA news agency, 'Hossein Faraki' mentioned in an interview that the opposing team will definitely come to defend and utilize counterattacks, and in response, Iran will also position itself offensively against Jordan. He emphasized that Jordan should not be underestimated, as Iran has suffered in the past when it has taken opponents lightly, but has achieved favorable results when it has approached matches with full commitment. He noted that Jordanian football has a unique characteristic in executing defensive strategies and utilizing counterattacks, benefiting from two speedy players in their attack. He added that no team in today's football enjoys a safety margin, and teams are closely matched. The national coach stressed that players must exert all their efforts to achieve a favorable result and that the plans and instructions from the coaches must be properly implemented. The players are highly motivated at this time to repay the affection of their fans. Regarding Ali Karimi's condition, he stated that Karimi had a regular training session with the national team yesterday and will also participate in training today and tomorrow, indicating that he is fit and has no injury issues. Currently, the national team has no injured players. The Iran national football team will play its first match against Jordan on Friday at the 100,000-seat Azadi Stadium as part of the qualifiers for the Asian Cup, where Lebanon and North Korea are also present in Group Four.
